Michigan State University

Michigan State University is a public research university in East Lansing, Michigan, founded in 1855 as the nation’s pioneer land-grant institution. Its mission combines undergraduate, graduate, and professional education with research and outreach, and the university serves learners across 17 degree-granting colleges. Michigan State enrolls more than 52,000 students from all 50 states and more than 130 countries, giving it a large residential campus presence while also operating as a major international university.
