• This program is open to Kentucky firefighters, emergency medical technicians, and paramedics who are KFA members and their dependents.
• Applicants must be planning to enroll in a 2- or 4-year program in fire science, paramedic science, safety engineering, or another field of emergency service.
• They must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher and scores of at least 19 on the ACT and/or 950 on the SAT. Their school may be in any state, but preference is given to applicants planning to study in Kentucky.
