The Undergraduate Research Grants provides funds for well-rounded applications which demonstrate competence of and commitment to psychologys best research practices. Stipends are available for the faculty sponsors of the highest scoring recipients. Budget Each round has $25.000 available for research grants. An annual total of $75.000 in funding is available for student research projects. Individual grants are up to $1.500 or $3.500 for research requiring the applicant to travel significant distances. New in 2.021-22: applicants experiencing financial hardships may elect to fill out additional prompts to be considered for an additional $2.000 intended for living expenses. Additionally, eleven $1.500 faculty stipends are available per round, with a thirty-three stipends annually available. Faculty stipends are awarded to the highest scoring applications in each round. Research funding and faculty stipends come together for an annual total of $124,500. Deadline Applications for the fall round are due to the application portal by October 15.
