• This program is open to seniors graduating in the top third of their high school in Texas and planning to enroll full-time at an accredited college or university in any state.
• Applicants must have participated actively in their local fair or other agricultural event and they must be nominated by that fair or event.
• The fair or event must be a member of the Texas Association of Fairs and Events (TAF&E) and each fair may only nominate 1 student.
• Financial need is not considered in the selection process.
