- Applicants must be working on a bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree in business at an accredited college or university in the United States or Puerto Rico and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher (or 2.75 in combination with 2 years of full-time work experience).
- They must be U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or DACA recipients of Hispanic or Latino heritage.
- After the first round, finalists are selected; they must submit transcripts, financial information, and brief essays.
- Selection is based on the essays, academic achievement, a personal statement of goals and aspirations, Prospanica and/or community service, and work experience.
