Cuyahoga Community College serves students in Cleveland, Ohio, with academic, workforce, and community-based learning opportunities designed to make higher education affordable and accessible. The college supports learners who want to earn a degree, improve job skills, get certified, train for a new career, or explore a new hobby. Its academic portfolio includes both credit and non-credit study, and it offers certificate programs across most career fields. Each semester, Tri-C offers more than 1,000 credit courses and maintains more than 200 career and technical programs, alongside short-term certificates, certificates of proficiency, and post-degree professional certificates. The college organizes its offerings across multiple schools and initiatives, including the School of Advanced Manufacturing, Engineering and Computer Science; the School of Business, Legal Professions and Hospitality; the School of Creative Arts; the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences; and the School of Nursing and Health Professions. Tri-C also extends its mission beyond traditional degree pathways through Workforce Training, Corporate College professional development and corporate training, and community programming for adults and youth. Affordability is a central part of the institution’s work. Tri-C operates a scholarship process that uses one general application to consider students for many scholarship opportunities, including the Academic Excellence Scholarship, Choose Ohio First Scholarships, and Honors and Scholars Programs and Scholarships. For the 2026–2027 cycle, applicants are directed to complete admissions requirements, submit the FAFSA, and file the general scholarship application. Returning students need a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0, and new and returning students are expected to enroll in at least six credit hours per semester and remain enrolled for the full term. The college also provides weekly Financial Education virtual workshops and direct support through Student Financial Aid and Scholarships.
