  • This program is open to U.S. citizens who are currently serving on active duty in the U.S. Navy or Naval Reserve, including Full-Time Support (FTS), Selected Reserves (SELRES), and Navy Reservists on active duty, except for those on active duty for training (ACDUTRA).
  • Only personnel 1) currently enrolled in the Naval Nuclear Training Pipeline (i.e., Nuclear Field A-School, Naval Nuclear Power School, or Naval Nuclear Power Training Unit);….
  • Applicants must be high school graduates (or GED recipients) who are able to complete the requirements for a baccalaureate degree in 36 months or less.
  • When they complete their degree requirements, they must be younger than 31 years of age.
  • Sea returnee staff instructors must finish prior to their 31st birthday.
  • Applicants must have taken the SAT or ACT within the past 3 years and achieved a score of 1140 or higher on the SAT or 50 or higher on the ACT. Their proposed college major must be in a technical area.
  • After commissioning, participants incur an active-duty obligation of 5 years.
