• This program is open to women from any state who are enrolled at a college or university in Virginia or Washington, D.C. as a sophomore or higher undergraduate or a graduate student.
• Applicants must be preparing for a career in public finance, including work in government, nonprofits, law, or finance.
• They must also submit a 500-word personal essay on 1 of the following: 1) an interest they have pursued outside of their college classes; 2) a goal they set for themselves and achieved; or 3) an experience, achievement, or risk they have taken or ethical dilemma they have faced.
• Financial need is not considered.
