• Enrolled in grades 9-12 at public, private, or home schools
• Completed original research in STEM

• This program is open to U.S. citizens and permanent residents enrolled in grades 9-12 at public, private, or home schools who have completed an original research investigation in a field of STEM.….
• Students present their findings at a regional symposium, held on a university campus in their area.
• At each regional symposium, selected paper presenters are chosen to receive scholarships.
• From each of the 48 regional symposia, 5 students are selected to attend the national JSHS, where the regional first- and second-place finishers present their research in an oral competition and the third-, fourth-, and fifth-place finishers present their research in a poster….
