• This program is open to residents of any state who are working on an undergraduate degree in civil engineering at Prairie View A&M University, Rice University, Texas Southern University, University of Houston, or University of Texas at Tyler-Houston Engineering Center.
• Applicants must be full-time sophomores, juniors, non-graduating seniors, graduating seniors continuing on to graduate school, or continuing graduate students.
• They must be members of their student chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
• Selection is based on overall merit, personal student achievements, and financial need.
