• This program is open to residents of Kansas enrolled as sophomores or higher at a college, university, or community college in the state.
• Applicants must be working on a degree in agriculture.
• They must submit a cover letter describing their background, livestock enterprise, career and education plans, a most important achievement, and why they deserve a scholarship.
• Financial need is not considered in the selection process.
• Preference is given to residents of Unified School District 400 in northern McPherson and southern Saline counties.
