• This program is open to residents of Maine who are older than 17 years of age and enrolled or planning to enroll at an accredited music school, college, or university in any state.
• Applicants must be interested in majoring in music with an emphasis on instrumental.
• Recipients are selected on the basis of 10- to 15-minute performances of at least 2 works from different periods, of which 1 must be performed from memory.
• The entry fee is $30.
