t the age of seventy-nine. He was the son of Theodore and Margaret Kaufman of Stroudsburg. Over his life, Ed spent years serving his nation and community. He grew up in Stroudsburg and attended Stroudsburg High School, where he was part of the rifle club and graduated in 1962. He worked for his father at Monroe Optical after school and on weekends. After high school, Ed went on to serve in the Army National Guard while working at Patterson Kelley and part-time as a welder at Banner Metals in Stroudsburg. Ed later w…
