• This program is open to 1) seniors graduating from high schools in the North Texas Region (member counties of the North Texas Council of Governments) or in an area with an SAME Post that also gives consideration to students from the North Texas region, and 2) graduates of such….
• Applicants must be working on or planning to work on an undergraduate degree in architecture, engineering, or science (e.g., biology, chemistry, environmental sciences, physics).
• College students must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• All applicants must be able to demonstrate leadership skills (e.g., through extracurricular activities, community service, student government, and athletics).
• Financial need is not required, but students may include information on their situation and ask that it be considered.
• They may also describe an interest or participation in ROTC, but that is not required.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
