• This program is open to dependents of retired military personnel living in Beaufort, Carteret, Craven, Jones, or Pamlico counties in North Carolina and dependents of active-duty military personnel permanently assigned to a command within those 5 counties.
• Applicants must be 1) graduating high school seniors; 2) students currently enrolled full-time at a 4-year college or university in any state, or 3) students currently enrolled in the first or second year at a community college and planning to transfer to a 4-year college or u….
• Selection is based primarily on all-around excellence in academics and civic and social activities, but financial need may also be considered.
