• This program is open to WEASC members and their immediate families who live or work within the Capital District (Fairfield, Lexington, Newberry, or Richland counties).
• Applicants must be graduating high school seniors or full- or part-time first-year students at a college or university in any state.
• They must be enrolled or planning to enroll in a credit certificate, diploma, or degree program with an environmental emphasis and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Students who wish to have financial need considered in the selection process must also submit documentation that verifies eligibility for a federal Pell Grant or similar program.
