• This program is open to Vietnamese American students who are graduating from high schools in Maryland and planning to enroll at a college, university, or vocational school in any state.
• Applicants must submit transcripts, information on their financial situation, 2 letters of recommendation, a copy of their SAT score, and an essay of 500 to 650 words that touches on 1) how their past and present experiences have inspired them to continue in their education; 2) how their attendance in college will better their community; and 3) how this scholarship will assist them in the achievement of their goals.
