Who can apply

• Must have a physical disability (e.g., deaf-blindness, hearing impairment, orthopedic impairment, visual impairment).
• Must be a resident of Boone, Ogle, Stephenson, or Winnebago counties, Illinois.
• Open to high school seniors and undergraduate students.
• Must be seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree.

Applying

Prepare an essay and obtain a reference from a primary care physician or school case manager. Apply by February 1, 2027.
