Awards are limited to undergraduate study. Its selection framework emphasizes more than grades alone. Academic performance, leadership, school and community participation, work experience, educational and career goals, unusual personal or family circumstances, an online recommendation, and demonstrated financial need all factor into recipient selection. The annual cycle includes notification in July and scholarship payment in August, reinforcing the foundation’s role in helping Maine-area students move from high school into full-time higher education.
