Walasek Family

The Arthur Walasek Computer Science Memorial Scholarship is funded by the Walasek Family to honor the life of Arthur Walasek, who had a profound passion for computer science. Arthur was introduced to programming at a young age and pursued a degree in computer science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He worked in the tech industry for over thirty years, contributing to various companies and projects while continuously learning and sharing his knowledge with others. This scholarship aims to support high school seniors who are passionate about computer science and wish to pursue a four-year degree in the field, particularly those with financial need.
