Professional Convention Management Association serves the business events industry through membership, education, events, community connections, and career development, with the PCMA Foundation extending that mission through scholarships and opportunities tied directly to professional success and continued education. Its platform spans news and trends, Convene Magazine, chapter and local connections, volunteer pathways, a career center, and learning offerings that include the PCMA Institute, professional development courses, the Digital Event Strategist Certification, webinars, and an on-demand library. The organization supports people at multiple career stages, from undergraduate and graduate students to working business event strategists and corporate event marketers. Its scholarship portfolio shows that range clearly. Tuition-based awards include the Roy B. Evans Scholarship, which offers a $7,500 USD tuition award for up to two undergraduate recipients in any year of study, and the Foundation Scholars Program, which provides a $3,500 USD tuition award plus two complimentary online educational courses at the PCMA Institute for up to five undergraduate recipients. The Legacy Society Scholarship and Continuing Education Scholarship each pair a $3,500 USD tuition award with two online courses and one year of PCMA membership for eligible final-year undergraduates or graduate-level learners. Professional Convention Management Association also uses access scholarships to bring practitioners into major industry gatherings. The Business Events Summit Host City Scholarships, supported by Discover Puerto Rico, offer complimentary registration and up to four nights at El Conquistador Resort in Fajardo, Puerto Rico for as many as 150 recipients attending the Business Events Summit. The CEMA Summit All-Access Scholarships similarly provide registration and three nights of hotel accommodations for up to 10 corporate event marketers. Across these programs, the association invests in education, industry participation, and a stronger pipeline of talent for business events.
