Kristen’s Krew

The Kristen McCartney Perseverance Scholarship, funded by Kristen’s Krew, honors the memory of Kristen McCartney, who passed away in 2021. Kristen was a vibrant individual who faced challenges due to a form of epilepsy but continued to pursue her passions, including competitive soccer and community involvement. This scholarship aims to support female high school juniors and seniors from North Carolina who demonstrate perseverance, ambition, and a commitment to making a difference through their education. The scholarship recognizes the importance of passion and resilience in pursuing higher education and aims to encourage young women to continue their academic journeys.
