Joan Choi

The Jason Choi Memorial Scholarship is funded by Joan Choi in memory of her husband, Jason Choi, who was a dedicated husband and father. Jason faced numerous health challenges throughout his life but remained committed to fitness, participating in activities such as CrossFit, half marathons, and triathlons. His passion for fitness not only helped him overcome personal health struggles but also fostered a sense of community and encouragement within the fitness world. This scholarship aims to support high school seniors in California who share a similar passion for fitness and have demonstrated academic achievement.
