Hodgson and Brown Family

The Hodgson and Brown Family established the Heather Brown Sports Information Scholarship to honor Heather R. Brown, who dedicated much of her life to college sports and passed away in October 2023 after a battle with breast cancer. Heather was a graduate of Bowling Green State University with a degree in Sports Journalism and spent 20 years at the Ohio Valley Conference, where she was known for her positive spirit and contributions to the athletic community. This scholarship aims to support students who share her passion for sports and have notable athletic achievements or relevant experience in sports information, administration, or journalism.
