Hispanic Scholarship Consortium

The organization operates scholarship pathways for distinct student populations. The HSC Scholars Program serves Latino and Hispanic student leaders who reside in Texas, including graduating high school seniors and undergraduates pursuing a professional certification, associate degree, or bachelor’s degree on a full-time or part-time basis. HSC also supports targeted academic pathways through programs such as the MAES Scholarship, which assists Texas residents of Hispanic heritage who plan to major in STEM at a college in the Austin area. Across these programs, the organization emphasizes academic achievement, leadership, community service, personal strengths, and financial need, and it includes students who may qualify under Texas Senate Bill 1528 rather than requiring U.S. citizenship.
