Greiner Family

The John Greiner Memorial Scholarship is funded by the Greiner Family to honor the legacy of John Greiner, who grew up in a hardworking farming family and later served in the Navy. His education and career spanned thirty years in facility maintenance at the East Syracuse Minoa School District. This scholarship aims to encourage high school seniors in Onondaga County, New York, to pursue careers in the trades, emphasizing the importance of hands-on skills and vocational training as viable paths to success. The scholarship reflects the belief that education can open doors across various fields, particularly in trades that require specialized skills.
