Girls Scouts of Montana and Wyoming

The Girl Scouts of Montana and Wyoming (GSMW) is a regional council of the Girl Scouts of the USA, serving girls in the states of Montana and Wyoming. The organization focuses on building girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. GSMW provides a variety of programs and activities that promote leadership, community service, and personal development, catering to girls from kindergarten through high school. The council also emphasizes outdoor experiences, STEM education, and entrepreneurship through its cookie program and other initiatives. Founded in 2007, the Girl Scouts of Montana and Wyoming was formed through the merger of two separate councils, the Girl Scouts of Montana and the Girl Scouts of Wyoming. This consolidation aimed to enhance the delivery of Girl Scout programs and services across the two states, ensuring that more girls have access to the benefits of Girl Scouting.
