The Joe Ford Trade Scholarship is funded by D.F. Richard Energy and the Ford Family to honor the life of Joseph Ford, who tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident at the age of 21. The scholarship aims to support high school seniors and trade school students interested in pursuing careers in building, industrial, or mechanical trades. It provides two awards of $2,500 each, totaling $5,000, to encourage students who share similar aspirations and attributes as Joe Ford. The application process requires candidates to answer five questions related to their trade interests and experiences.
