Chavez Family

The Mary Jane Chavez Memorial Scholarship, funded by the Chavez Family, aims to honor the memory of Mary Jane Chavez, a devoted mother who valued education, faith, and family. After dropping out of high school at seventeen to focus on her family, she later earned her GED, demonstrating her commitment to education. This scholarship supports female Catholic high school seniors in Colorado who plan to attend a two or four-year college, encouraging them to pursue their academic goals and continue the legacy of Mary Jane's dedication to education.
