- Nationality (IEFA): Unrestricted Host countries (IEFA): United States The Maison Law Valley Community Scholarship is available to high school seniors who reside in the valley (and nearby communities) and will be attending college in the fall. Eligibility requirements: We ask that all applicants: Be a graduating high school senior Have a minimum 3.0 GPA Submit an essay of approximately 500 words in the form below telling us “How you would make the streets of your city) safer”. Your answer could address anything from a dangerous intersection to how to curb texting and driving or even making roads safer for cyclists. It’s up to you. Award: One student will be awarded $2,000; (nonrenewable) to be paid directly to college or university admissions office. The deadline to apply is May 1. The student being awarded will be contacted by us directly on or around May 16.
