• This program is open to members and the children and grandchildren of members of the SWANA Wisconsin Badger Chapter who are 1) high school seniors or graduate certified candidates who have been accepted at a 2- or 4-year college or university in any state; or 2) current full-time juniors, seniors, or graduate students working on a degree in environmental science, engineering, or other field related to solid waste management at a college or university in any state. In the selection process, the sponsor attempts to identify the applicant who best 1) searches for extra opportunities in school, community, work, or the solid waste and recycling industry; 2) inspires others through mentorship, integrity, creativity, and their ability to communicate; and 3) demonstrates commitment, enthusiasm, passion, and accountability towards an organization or activity.
