The aim of the program is to promote research opportunities in Switzerland for American and Canadian students to foster the exchange between Swiss, U.S., and Canadian universities and research institutions. Undergraduate and graduate students wanting to do research at a public Swiss university or research institute for 2 to 3 months can apply for our research scholarship. This program provides a monthly scholarship of CHF 1,600 (approx. USD 1,650) for a period of 2 to 3 months (CHF 4,800 maximum), which covers the majority of the average student’s living costs.
