- Nationality (): Unrestricted Host countries (): Australia FUBiS is an intensive, academic program of Freie Universität Berlin through which students can earn credits that may be counted towards their degrees at their home institutions. FUBiS sessions run for 3 to 6 weeks and take place both in summer and winter. The der Freunde, Förderer und Ehemaligen der Freien Universität Berlin e.V. offers for the Freie Universität Berlin International Summer and Winter University (FUBiS) 10 for qualified students from universities in Australia. The support undergraduate students from accredited universities in Australia. Awards are based on the applicant’s academic achievements and motivation. Scholarship applications and related materials can be send directly to [email protected] (final deadline is October 14). They do not have to be submitted anymore directly to the Australian home university. For further Information please visit our Website. At the time of application for the , applicants must fulfil all of the following criteria: be enrolled as a full-time student at an Australian University, be at least in the second semester of their studies in that institution/University, be enrolled as undergraduate or bachelor student, have very good grades, have a specific interest in one of the offered courses in the framework of FUBiS Term I. As the subject courses are taught in English, English language proficiency on an intermediate level is a pre-requisite for students interested in the program. German language classes are offered at five different proficiency levels (Beginner 1 to Advanced 1). For participation in a German language course, no previous knowledge of German language is required.
